Hehe this sure brings back memories xD...my grandfather used to tell me the story about how baba yaga will come to the children who won't go to bed...I used to be terrified of her xD xD...your work is amazing she's even more creepy that I imagined her to be

if I may say Baba Yaga didn't acutely originate in russia but in Ukraine however the particular Baba Yaga in you portrait is the Russian Baba Yaga. In Ukrainian folklore the Baba Yaga is an old hag with evil powers who lives in a house that has chicken legs.
I do love this picture though I love that you incorporated the children's face adds more reality as well as a story to the picture.
